Shout out!: What a great first class! Posted on February 12th, 2014 by

I appreciated the fact that, although there was lots of laughter in the room, some people shared more serious experiences.

I enjoyed our opening activity as well. Even though we spend so much time together as a class, there’s always more things to learn. I like hearing about everyone’s experiences, background, and hobbies. It’s also good that we feel comfortable enough to share something meaningful things about ourselves with each other. We’re all pretty cool people.

I usually use first names in a “Shout out,” but also want to respect privacy. Shout outs are: always positive, specific, and respect the subject’s privacy. (When in doubt, ask before you post!) We’ll talk in class about whether people feel comfortable having pictures posted.
