I just came across this article, Multi-tasking while Studying, and thought that it would be interesting for the practicum class to discuss. While I read it, I thought about my own multi-tasking and work, as well as how younger students might be learning.
(Like the author of the article, I have to admit that I’m of the generation who wasn’t allowed to watch tv while studying! At the same time, I just checked an email mid-way through writing this post!)
How might this research shape how you use technology in the classroom or talk to students about learning?
