As we debriefed about the conference, I mentioned that two ladies had gone for a week during the summer to stay a Mount Vernon at a school that takes place there for educators. I thought I would put the link on the blog. I found it very interesting when they talked about it and it sounds like a great experience that few are able to have. There is a lengthy process to apply it sounded like as the two described it, but it worth it in the end. You get to stay at Mount Vernon throughout the institute stay which is an experience in itself. You visit and experience things many tourists are not able to do.
