The Minnesota Council for the Social Studies is the state-level chapter of the National Council for the Social Studies organization. Both organizations provide opportunities for K-12 teachers to explore innovative curriculum, develop social studies content knowledge, and make connections with other social studies educators.
On Monday, March 11, our class will be attending the MCSS spring conference. If you haven’t already registered, go the the MCSS conference site. This page includes the conference program and presentation descriptions, as well as logistical information like maps, etc. Make sure that you register as a student and bring your student id to the conference!
I’ll bring copies of NCSS journals and materials to class this week. We’ll also talk about carpooling and planning to have a great conference!
